WRITE AWARD-WINNING PROPOSALS

How To Write Grant Proposals That Will Attract Funding, Help You Grow Your Non-Profit (CBO, NGO etc.)  And Transform Lives

Imagine Having to Write Grant Proposals That Gets Approved Without Stress!

Grant writing can seem overwhelming. Really overwhelming if you don’t know how it is done. How do you know where to start? How do you know which grants are good for your organization?

Grant writing does not have to be confusing or overwhelming. It doesn’t have to be something that only the professionals do.

However, you’re struggling with two things.

  1. How to write successful grant proposals without wasting hours and hours.
  2. How to win grants for your non-profit ( if you are a founder), or for the nonprofit you work at OR for the many nonprofits you work with.

You can learn how to write successful grant applications for nonprofit organizations that get approved without stress. How? Through this course.

A good grant proposal presents your organisation in the best possible light, and convinces the potential funder that your goals are aligned with their own mission statement and vision.

It makes them want to support your work by awarding you a grant.

If you haven’t gotten your grant proposal writing right, you are definitely going to get thrown away by potential funders.

You will want this Grant Writing Master Course, if…

  • You want to learn how to write grants with a proven step-by-step system.
  • You want to improve your grant writing skills.
  • You want a simple approach that uses examples (and not all that jargon!

You might be thinking…

  • How does one even start to write a grant?
  • Where does one find grants?
  • How can I turn the past no into a future yes for funding?

First, you just don’t know where to start and are overwhelmed.

Second, even if you do find grants to write, you won’t know how to efficiently get the grant proposal done so you do not waste huge amounts of time and not attract funding

If you don’t figure this out, the nonprofit you work at (or work for) will not receive all that funding that you know they can. Believe me, I’ve been there.

It took me years to figure out how to write grants, but I’ve taken all my knowledge and turned it into a tangible system for you!

Your nonprofit or the non-profit you work at will suffer if you aren’t there to advance your grant writing skills. Or if you are a nonprofit consultant, the many nonprofits you WANT to serve through grant writing will suffer because you haven’t upped your game.

Deep down you really wished you had a system and resources that you can plug-n-play to succeed in writing grants.

Just maybe your help could employ jobs for people, get domestic violence shelters funded, build schools, fund research projects that find a cure for a life threatening disease and basically help make the world a better place.

Without you taking the next step, all of these programs, dreams, and needs will not be fulfilled…that school, hospital, or community center will not be built.

But the problem is you really are not confident in your grant writing skills.

Let’s face it, you’ve only written a couple or you haven’t written them for years. You need to build up those skills.

What YOU want is to efficiently write grant proposals and help nonprofits win grants.

Why do you need this Training?

To secure funding to achieve your dreams, you need to be able to get your message across clearly and concisely, and in a convincing manner.

You need to use tools that will help you stand out from the pool of many applicants. You need techniques that will inform your project design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of your project.

The donor world is a very competitive space as many partners seek to secure funding for their projects. This means your application MUST stand out and be very convincing for it to win.

The Good news is:

  • There are many opportunities that you can take advantage of:

The current funding environment is particularly becoming very favorable for the local actors. There is a new push for funding to be decentralized to reach more and more local actors. T

his has resulted in the birth of various initiatives like localization agenda, Journey to self-reliance, etc. which all aim at having the local actors take more charge in making decisions throughout the project cycle – with international actors (including INGOs) stepping in only if and when necessary.

  • Make it easier for the donor to select and fund your Project:

Donor resources are usually limited and in great demand from competing needs. You, therefore, need to contextualize your project so that you show that the problem or opportunity being addressed fits the donor priorities and that tackling the problem has the potential to transform the lives of the beneficiaries significantly and in a sustainable way.

You MUST also demonstrate that you have the capacity to deliver on your proposal and achieve the said results.

To learn all this and much more, ENROL NOW for the course.

You Deserve To Know How To Write Winning Grants.

Here’s How This Master Course Will Help.

Module 1: How to identify the best-fit proposals for your type of organization:

Grant proposal writing is an expensive venture that requires time, money, and energy, and hence not all proposals are worth pursuing. It is critical for every organization to evaluate itself and come up with criteria for deciding on what proposals to invest in.

This module helps the participant to understand the key factors that he/she should consider before deciding on the kind of proposals that an organization should focus on.

You will have access to:

  • 5 videos
  • Self-evaluation tool to determine if you are a good fit
  • One Worksheet

Module 2: How to identify and define your problem

Having a well-defined, contextualized, and specific problem to address is the foundation of a good proposal. The problem is the basis for developing all the other components of the proposal. This module will introduce the participants to techniques and tools that will help in ensuring that the problem at hand is well understood and thus well defined.

You will have access to:

  • 5 videos
  • Sample problem analysis tool
  • One Worksheet

Module 3: How to identify and package your strategic approaches/Methodology?

Identifying the best approaches and solutions for addressing the problem is a process that requires critical thinking.

You will have access to:

  • 4 videos
  • Sample M&E Plan
  • One Worksheet

Module 5: Packaging Other Non-Technical Components:

While developing a high-quality technical proposal is non-negotiable, it is not adequate in ensuring that the proposal is awarded. In addition, the budget proposal must be aligned with the technical proposal.   The organization must also meet all administrative requirements. This module will equip the learners with skills on how to develop capacity statements, the budgeting process, and preparing administrative requirements.

My Mission.

To empower non-profits to successfully attract and retain donors by offering comprehensive skill-building programs, essential tools, and tailored resources for fundraising success. My goal is to help organizations amplify their impact, sustain their efforts, and drive positive change within their communities.

Why I Care.

In my experience, I’ve seen firsthand the challenges faced by non-profits when it comes to securing the funding they need. The stakes are high, and the impact of these challenges is profound. Here’s why I’m passionate about making a difference:

•Wastage of Time, Energy, and Resources: I’ve seen countless non-profits invest enormous effort into writing grants that never get funded, leaving them drained and disheartened.

Missed Opportunities:Too many organizations with impactful missions lose out on critical funding because they lack the skills to create compelling proposals.

Non-Profits Shutting Down: I’ve witnessed dedicated non-profits close their doors simply because they couldn’t secure the financial support necessary to sustain their work.

•Impact of Ineffective Fundraising:Inefficient proposal writing doesn’t just mean lost funds—it also means fewer lives touched and less progress towards vital community goals.

•Need for Professional Growth:Many fundraisers and non-profit professionals struggle to advance in their careers due to a lack of advanced proposal writing skills and knowledge.

•Desire for Sustainable Change: I care deeply about helping organizations build long-term, sustainable fundraising strategies that drive real and lasting impact.

I’m dedicated to transforming these challenges into opportunities for growth and success, so that every organization can continue making a difference in their communities.

This list may seem long, but if I were to list the proposals that I did not win, perhaps the list would be longer.

Why am I telling you this?

Because I want you to know that Proposal writing is a skill that can be learnt

Here is My Story.

Just like you, when I started, It was hard! I failed many times! I was frustrated!  Back then, I worked for a local organization where one of my main role was resource mobilization and fundraising.

But I had zero experience! I remember one time I wrote a proposal on behalf of one of the partner organizations (I was working at the secretariat of a network of organization). I put all my strength and skills into action and spent sleepless nights working on it. It had to be a masterpiece! I submitted it to the partner organization who then submitted the application to an international NGO.

Now, I happened to have a friend who worked for the International NGO where the proposal had been submitted. I knew she was one of the reviewers of the proposals and I decided to ask if they had received a proposal from so and so organization.

The response shocked me

She criticized the proposal saying how poorly it was written. I still remember a statement she said ” they have no idea how to write a proposal”. Of course I did not disclose that I am the one who had written it!

That was the beginning of my journey. I made a decision that I would build my skills in proposal writing!

So I decided to invest in myself! And today, I am proud to call myself a proposal development expert.

If I did it, so can you! Join me and let us learn together!

What Motivated me to roll out this Mentorship Program?

A while back, a friend, who is a founder of a local NGO reached out to me and expressed her frustrations in getting her staff to write quality proposals that can attract donor funding. Like many of us, she is in full-time employment while at the same time, trying to get her NGO up and running, not forgetting other family duties!

This caught me wondering how many of us are struggling in this area? I know there are many founders/CEOs, Directors/managers/project staff of NGOs, FBOs, CBOs, social enterprises, etc. who would like to grow their organizations by attracting donor funding.

So today I would like to reach out to you struggling, frustrated, and feeling stuck with no idea of how to write high-quality proposals that will attract funding.
